Ray Ostman, Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager at Carolina Filters, Ray Ostman bridges the gap between hands-on field execution and high-level strategy. With over a decade of experience in the industrial and government sectors, Ray specializes in delivering large-scale industrial filtration solutions and specialized Hospital IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) programs.

Ray’s approach is built on a core belief: the best business strategies require deep technical understanding. Having ascended from a service technician to senior management, he knows exactly what is required to deliver results where it matters most—on the job site.

A true subject matter expert, Ray is a National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) triple-certified professional, holding the Certified Air Filtration Specialist (CAFS), NAFA Certified Technician I (NCT I), and NAFA Certified Technician II (NCT II) designations.

Complementing his technical expertise is a distinguished 20-year career in law enforcement. Serving as an Investigator and Use of Force Instructor, Ray developed a relentless attention to detail and a commitment to rigorous safety standards—traits he brings to every industrial project today. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice, providing him with a strong analytical foundation for complex problem-solving and contract oversight.

Throughout his career, Ray has held impactful leadership roles, including serving as a Regional Service Manager and a Business Development Manager overseeing large-scale operations across the state of Florida. Today, he leverages this unique perspective to drive growth through strategic project management, refined contract negotiation, and the leadership of high-performing technical teams. Guided by strict time management and a proactive approach to risk, Ray is dedicated to ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in every client solution.
